I have found it fascinating looking into the scarification african tribes and I feel the main reason is due to the emotion and story behind their scars.
Within my journey throughout this project I wanted to show a type of scarification in my make-up design. However, I thought a lot of the tribes I have researched are african, therefore wanted to maybe create a westernised version and even enhance the paleness.
