Bruno Metra and Laurence Jeanson

Two photographers Bruno Metra and Laurence Jeanson created a series of portraits of people who appeared to have plastic surgery by taping on various cut out of magazines.

I found this series in particular very interesting due the concept they were trying to portray. The fact that society is constantly seeking for perfection through surgery, make-up, style etc. Being strongly influenced from the media and surrounded by 'perfect' celebrities. In a way it is almost like they are taking the piss out of the fact that many images are photoshoped and a lot of people these days change certain characteristics due to insecurities and the mind set they have in what they think is perfection.
